I couldn't resist adding these pictures.
Scanners are so much fun.

This is Mickey after his appendectamy in 2004. A nice member family looked after him in the hospital and emailed it to me. I was recently scannning in some of his old photgraphs and found the one below; isn't that neat? I love the smiles.

This is Mickey and his sister Elizabeth

This is his niece Crystal. Doesn't she look like Kareli??

Mickey as a baby. He looks like Kareli too. :0)
Travis, come over and help fix up these old photos!! I have tons like that last one, and I know you can do it, so no excuses! Umm, I mean, perty perty perty please? See you in a week, right? I guess I can wait that long. That's what you get for being a computer whiz.

Howdy howdy. So I finally joined Facebook; now it's just up to Troy and Regina to join into the *cool* world! (anything is cool if I join it...) We haven't been doing much lately, just chilling out and surviving the beginning of winter. :) We had two rats pass away, both from cancer. I was a softy and took them to the vet to be put to sleep, instead of (as both Christy and Troy suggested) using a shovel. Sickos! ;-) Luckily Kayin handles it really well. So now we're just down to Chuck, since I haven't given in to getting another animal yet. Give it a month....
Poor Mickey was stuck on the highway for 3 1/2 hours coming home from work last night because the weather got so bad. He's not looking forward to commuting through the winter again, but I'm looking forward to snow days. Weren't those the best school days ever? Waking up early and watching the snow come down as you listen to the radio or tv, just waiting and waiting for those magical words. . . School's cancelled! Then of course you get all dressed up and spend the whole day outside anyway, because it's never to snowy to play. :) Am I right?
Kayin caught Pink Eye and an ear infection on the same day, and was really miserable until his ear popped and suddenly stopped hurting. Poor kid. We discovered that putting drops of contact solution in his eyes a couple times a day really helped too; it cleared the red and goobers and made it stop itching really quickly. It was mostly cleared up by the next day. Yay! He still loves preschool and comes home with new songs and words nearly every time. He loves helping with Kareli, bathing and feeding her, and his favorite time is when she wakes up and he gets to run in to her room, climb into her crib and snuggle. He's desperate to sleep with her and is constantly asking me, but I'm not quite ready for that yet. I know they'll just stay up and play. :-) Maybe when Kareli's naps aren't so important to me. *smiling*
Kareli pulls herself up now to standing, and crawls everywhere. She loves making faces at us and will imitate any look you give her. Kayin loves to wrestle with her and she's getting better at putting up with it, but he's in big trouble when she outgrows him! (and with how much that girl eats, she'll pass him in no time! We haven't found anything she won't eat.)
Here are a new bunch of pictures, again completely out of order. But cute... :-)
Happy Halloween!
Trick-or-Treating down main street with Batman and Lovebug

Motorcycle mama! The first time I put her on this she fell in love, and immediately started rocking. Took awhile to get her off. :) I was amazed her balance was so good; she never did fall off.

Kayin loves 'helping' her ride

Wrestlemania!

These are pictures that we took while I was still pregnant with Kareli. Obviously we never followed through with our plan to send them out as Christmas cards, but at least now we can share them. :) The photographer supplied the clothes, we supplied the talent. ;-)

Hope everyone's doing great! Love you all!
