Texas pictures

So here is our Texas trip, FINALLY!!! Mom finally pointed out that I haven't updated in awhile, so now I being a good girl. :) You reach a certain point where it's been so long since updating that it's a real challenge to sort everything out and pick the pictures, then upload everything. :) Hopefully I'll learn my lesson this time and update better!

Kayin and Kareli LOVED snuggling together

Kareli learned that only the first bite of anything is worth having :)

We found santa in a store and Kayin went nuts. :) Kareli was terrified, but Kayin didn't want to leave. I think he's an awesome looking santa!

This nasty thing shot green poison at us and attacked a stick we were moving it with. EVERYTHING in Texas tried to kill us!

Du du du du du du Bat Man!

Experiments in the Science Department of the kids' museum

Fun building crafts at Lowes; we still have them all!

Kayin learned that sliding down the climbing wall just doesn't work... :) Yes, his coat is stuck and yes, I did leave him there to run in for the camera, laughing the whole time.

That would be mom, the tube monster, chasing the children

Poor Kareli got several fevers while we were there; she's very prone to that, poor kid.

Gotta keep our Daddy Doll safe! Both kids have one and they love to snuggle them

Kayin loved helping cook and did a great job basting the Thanksgiving turkey

We actually did get a few days that were really hot. A desperate momma had to come up with something for hot and cranky kids, so I cleaned out some garbage can lids and turned them loose with the hose. It was a blast! At least until the temperature dropped to about 40 within minutes; wow, that was a mad dash for the inside and a hot bath!

Aww, they're so cute. :) Thank you Grammy and Grandpa for letting us stay so long! ( :-P) to everyone who didn't join us!

Nothing like boxes...

Man, we wore this poor girl out so many times!

Special packages for Daddy!

Making hand prints for a christmas package for Daddy. Grammy's house has so many fun messy things to play with!

Pretty girls!

I'm going to eat this... am I going to get away with it???

You can't make peanut butter playdough without snitching...

Yay for Christmas parties!

The ward there very kindly invited us to their primary party so the kids could decorate grahm cracker houses

We ADORED the carnival! The rides were perfect for their ages, (and for my maturity...) and they always had a blast

Happy Birthday Kareli!!

Kayin drew me a Christmas tree. I was very impressed!

Every now and then we could convince her to share, and then the kids could have fun too...

Talking on her new birthday phone while putting on her new lipstick.... I'm in serious trouble in a few years...

Snuggling with granpa... best seat in the house

Cool new gadgets

At the zoo... I forgot to take my earrings out and they nearly ripped my ears off! All the kind, helpful people around me laughed and laughed. :) Then they (the birds) bit me when I tried to shoo them away and I had to leave to get bandaids. Never leave earrings in! lol

Kayin spent a lot of time trying to reinact his miraculous snag of previously and was VERY proud of himself for managing it. :)

Kareli has learned the fine art of chair scooting to get on the counters. :)

A sweet brother reading her favorite book to her. She was obsessed with Pinkalicious the whole time we were there

Fancy lady ready for a day on the town or a trip to the store, whichever comes first. :)

Wow, we REALLY wore her out a lot..

Coolest kids museum ever! They loved the floating balls

Happy Birthday Magdelyn!

Peekaboo!

Kareli is all mommy... she stayed with that baby as much as possible

Awww... they're both so sweet. :)

they decided I needed a nap so they worked really hard to put me to sleep.

Both kids loved rolling up in the carpet then playing "Flatten the bump" That's Kayin under the rug

Best bubbles ever! They literally lasted for months! I was still finding them when I left, stuck to the walls upstairs

Seriously, she loved helping out...

I loved holding such a sweet baby.

Yeah, grammy has my maturity level too. Come on kids, let's ride this one again!!

Kayin loved building his Transformers

Kareli learned how too

It's more fun with eyes. :)

Sweet Kayin made me a Valentines' Day card. He says it says "Dear Mommy, I love you!"

Ahhh....

Can't beat free snuggles. They were about a foot apart and Kareli kept scooting her bum closer until she could get a hug in on a distracted brother. :) Luckily Kayin did hug her back.

At the fair, learning to milk a cow. Even I had to try that; it was cool!

Great petting zoo at the fair. We got there not even 5 minutes after a goat gave birth; it was amazing!

More Transformers. Kayin is completely obsessed with them.

So that's our Texas trip in a very very very tiny nutshell. We had a blast and were not at all ready to go home. :) Thank you again Grammy and Grandpa!
